Melissa Kiomall
Melissa is an
Educational Psychologist and a Research Officer at the Monash
University Centre for Developmental Psychiatry and Psychology (CDPP).
She has worked in the
field of autism research for a number of years and currently
works in two CDPP Autism intervention research projects;
‘Pre-schoolers with autism: an education and skills training
programme for parents’ and the ‘Growing up with Autism:
education and skills training for parents of adolescents with
Autism’ where she is responsible for cognitive assessments and
reports, data collection and analysis and writing up of results.
She also works in the
CDPP School Refusal Program, providing assessment and cognitive
behavioural therapy (CBT) to school refusing children and
adolescents with anxiety and depressive disorders.
She supervises
probationary psychologists and provides professional training in
developmental and cognitive assessment of children with
Autism.
Melissa is a member of
the Victorian Psychologists Association and also has a private
practice.
